Our client, a major player in the CPG industry, is looking for an Accounting Manager for a 12-month contract with the potential for extension. This role is in office 5 days a week in Mississauga. Key responsibilities include: Oversee daily accounting functions including AP/AR, reconciliations, cash handling, fixed assets, and bi-weekly payroll and benefits. Prepare monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, board reports, annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses. Review monthly journal entries for accruals, commercial leases, investment activity, and intercompany transfers. Lead external audit preparation, serve as the primary liaison for auditors and the CRA, handle insurance renewals, and enforce internal controls. Supervise, coach, and evaluate the accounting team while identifying financial system and workflow improvements. Deliver reports for Finance Committee meetings and support ad hoc financial projects. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and an active CPA designation (or be in the final stages of completion). Possess 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 4 years in a supervisory role. Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Requirements

Candidates need at least five years of progressive accounting experience, including four years in a supervisory role, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and prioritization abilities.
