Overview Analyst Technology Corporate Services – IT Operations Status: (1) Contract Full Time - up to 13 months Hiring Range: $81,977 - $92,224 per annum Work Mode: Hybrid (4 days in office) Location: 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton; able to travel to various regional locations Hours of Work: 35 hours per week; Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 4:30PM, including evenings, weekends and holidays, on-call rotation and/or shift work Who We Are:We’re a team dedicated to delivering top-notch IT services that empower regional programs to better serve external customers. What You Will Do:As a key member of the Technology Service Centre team, you will provide expert technical support to resolve hardware, software, network, and voice-related issues. Respond promptly to requests for assistance, ensuring quick resolution of connectivity and performance issues Provide on-site support and root cause analysis for recurring incidents Assist clients with technology use, software installations, and system changes Troubleshoot and resolve incidents to customer satisfaction Support device configurations (cell phones, printers, etc.) Collaborate with the team on service delivery and problem-solving Contribute to IT project plans and ongoing service improvements Stay updated with new technologies to enhance your skills What the role requires: University or college degree in computer science or related discipline Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technology support role or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft productivity software, Microsoft Outlook/Exchange, Microsoft Edge, Avaya telephone system/sets, end-user computers (i.e., desktops, notebooks, tablets), print/fax/copy technologies, end-user mobility devices and MDM solutions (i.e., iPhones, iPads), ServiceNow ticketing system Awareness of best practices in Information Technology service delivery such as SDLC, PMBOK, COBIT and ITIL Ability to travel to various regional locations; and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, on-call rotation and/or shift work Lifting of equipment routinely required Skills/Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with clients, teams, and management Excellent customer service, with a commitment to quality and service excellence Detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving and quick implementation of solutions Focused on continuous improvement of processes and the work environment Ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities Independent worker with a desire to learn and share knowledge Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills Nice to have: Proficiency with MAC iOS Experience supporting technology in a Public Health clinic environment Apply now and help us build a better tomorrow with the Region of Peel!
