CONSTRUCTION LABOURER RFNOW Inc. is seeking applications from motivated individuals interested in joining our Construction Team in Virden, MB area. The successful candidates will be involved in the day-to-day operations, including the preparation and installation of fiber internet infrastructure. General Responsibilities: * Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment * Conduct daily equipment inspection reports on equipment before use. Report any repair issues or equipment hazards immediately * Secure special attachments to equipment * Assist with general labour duties when needed, to complete fiber optic construction projects * Transport materials to and from the jobsite, including loading and unloading * Using proper tie-down procedures, secure materials to be transported to ensure the safety and security of the load * Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and in compliance with company PPE standards * Complete all required accurate paperwork on a daily basis, including daily site meeting, drivers’ logs, equipment daily inspection forms, and attendance tracking * Other reasonable duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience: * Excellent communication skill both verbal and written * Experience with heavy equipment for underground construction (Backhoes, excavators, cat dozer directional drills, hydrovac, semi/trailers, dump trailers) would be considered an asset, but willing to train suitable applicants * Must have a valid Class 5 license (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset) * Experience with utility locates and working around existing utilities * Must be currently authorized to work in Canada What We Offer * Competitive entry-level salary * Training, mentorship, and career development opportunities * Supportive team environment * Opportunity to grow and development * Benefits package and long-term career stability " If interested, please apply on our career centre: Career Centre | Recruitment [https://workforcenow.adp.com/mascsr/default/mdf/recruitment/recruitment.html?cid=6cc2eace-136e-4990-a62a-3fa9e04b94d9&ccId=19000101_000001&lang=en_CA&selectedMenuKey=CareerCenter] or email us your resume and the position you are applying to at [email protected].
