Kinross’ comprehensive exploration and development program will aim to support the vision of a quality, high-grade, open-pit mine and a longer-term, sizeable underground mine. Job Summary Reporting to the Advanced Exploration Manager, the Geotech Engineer Superintendent is responsible for leading all geotechnical engineering activities supporting the safe planning, design, construction, and future operation of the Great Bear Advanced Exploration (AEX) underground mine.

Lead all geotechnical engineering activities to support the safe planning, design, and construction of the Great Bear underground mine. Ensure the future operation of the mine is supported by sound geotechnical engineering practices.

The candidate must have the expertise to manage geotechnical activities for a large-scale gold mining project. Mid-senior level experience in underground mine engineering and management is required.
