Job summary
Reporting to the Cage Manager the Cage Cashier will ensure they promote utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service and respect to all the guests, associates, and AGLC personnel. Ensure the guest is being provided with superior customer service A passion for excellent service and the organization’s vision Commitment to learning what our customers' needs and wants are. Encourage mutual accountability in service and inspiring others Ensure the cash cages meets desired presentation for our guests throughout hours of operation. Willingness to discover opportunities to exceed the customer's expectations. Uphold a teamwork experience helping where available or when requested. Ability to accept responsibility readily and grasp instructions Adhere to all the established polices and procedures for effective and secure cash flow Responsible for the redemption of all TITO tickets as well as balancing them at the end of each shift Responsible for assigned cash float, reconciliation of corresponding paperwork, and balancing currency at cash out Identify and report counterfeit bills Monitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests Support and communicate with all associates within the casino gaming floor Responsible for the daily execution of operational goals and objectives Actively promote the Resort Club Assist Slot Banker during busier times (outlet floats) Responsible to initiate hand pays to Slot Attendants for Jackpot wins Responsible for Slot machine box pulls. May be required to assist or perform the duties of a Gift Shop Cashier or Count Room Clerk when scheduled Computer data entry of cash transactions, IVS Tito program Actively communicates inefficiencies Ability to work under stress obtaining organizational skills in time management Maintains housekeeping of workstation and surrounding areas Maintain an AGLC gaming workers license Uphold a team work appearance offering assistance where available or when requested Able to learn the duties of a Poker / Para mutual / Lotto cashier/Gift Shop Cashier To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace. All other duties as assigned Cash handing experience is required Casino experience an asset High School Diploma an asset Must be able to register with AGLC Excellent customer service skills Basic computer knowledge The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
