Job summary
Overview River Cree Resort and Casino is a full-service/state of the art hotel and entertainment establishment located on the Enoch Nation (outside of Edmonton, Alberta). You will be involved in creating a culture based on outstanding customer service and customer loyalty. The Gift Shop Cashier is responsible for providing a value-added experience to all Resort guests throughout our property. The Gift Shop Cashier is responsible for the Gift Shop. They will be responsible creating a positive, informative and fun atmosphere for the Resort. This position is critical in providing quick and efficient transactions to our patrons and associates. They will promote and maintain the utmost integrity and highest caliber of customer service. Responsibilities Ensure the guest is being provided with superior customer service A passion for excellent service and the organization’s vision Commitment to learning what our customers' needs and wants are Encourage mutual accountability in service and inspiring others Help guests with purchases. Responsible for opening and/or closing the gift shop. Ensure proper cash handling procedures. Responsible for stocking and rotation of merchandise. Participate in executing Resort promotions. Have detailed knowledge of all events, activities and attractions occurring in the Resort. Merchandising and stocking To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace. All other duties as assigned Qualifications Successful completion of a High School Diploma is necessary. Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience. Minimum of 1 year of retail experience. Proficient in Microsoft Applications: work, excel, power point and outlook. Experience in the gaming, hospitality, customer service or retail industry. The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays. WE OFFER A competitive wage and excellent benefits. Requirements
