Reporting to the Hell’s Kitchen General Manager, the Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for welcoming and guiding them, setting the tone for their dining experience, and representing the Hell’s Kitchen brand. This role ensures guests feel welcome and informed from the moment they arrive. Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for guests. Greeting guests, seat them, and provide information about specials or relevant details. Assign work tasks and coordinate activities of restaurant staff to ensure prompt and courteous service. Assist servers and server assistants as needed (e.g., clear plates, setting tables). Work in other food and beverage outlets as directed by management. Follow all Health and Safety requirements and look out for the safety of yourself and coworkers. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred. Previous customer service experience, preferably in a related environment, is an asset. Experience with reservation systems or POS software would be beneficial. AGLC ProServe/Protect certification Enthusiastic, outgoing, and positive attitude. Well-organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Pleasant, accommodating, and willing to go the extra mile for guests. Sincere desire to please guests and create memorable experiences. Sense of urgency and strong work ethic. Calm, organized, and confident under pressure. Enjoys working as part of a team and independently. Willing to ask for help when needed. Maintains a professional appearance. Strong communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening). Physically able to stand for extended periods. The schedule for this position requires an open availability and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays WE OFFER A competitive wage and excellent benefits. Requirements
