Job summary
As a Server at Chances Maple Ridge, you play a key role in creating the warm, welcoming experience our guests love. Whether supporting service in The Well or engaging guests on the casino floor, this position brings together genuine hospitality, polished service, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, professional environment for both guests and team members. You ensure all company policies and procedures are followed while contributing to a positive, collaborative atmosphere where great service and great teamwork thrive. Key Accountabilities * Greets guests by name wherever possible * Escorts guests to a table when applicable; presents menus; informs guests of daily specials * Explains how various menu items or beverages are prepared * Takes the guest orders; makes recommendations * Serves the guests; checks to ensure satisfaction * Prepares food and beverages if applicable * Resolves guests issues or asks management for assistance * Presents bill upon request; takes payment * Cleans table s or counters; removes dishes; re-stocks where applicable * Performs opening or closing duties as required * Counts cash float at end of shift when applicable * Covers other servers sections when required * Exercises good judgment when serving alcoholic beverages * Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments * Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and team members * Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations * Performs other duties as assigned or directed Education and Qualifications * Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays * Minimum 1 year serving experience effective and service oriented communication * POS experience * Serving it Right Certification * Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License * Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, * Ability to multi-task and prioritize; * Ability to follow rules, regulations, policies and procedures at all times; * Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License Our Companies are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace and welcome applications from all qualified team members.
