Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Level 3) Location: National Capital Region (NCR) – Ottawa & Gatineau (On-Site) Overview We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Level 3) to support a Federal Government client on a 2-year contract. ??An active Government of Canada SECRET clearance is mandatory. This role will support a federal initiative focused on Sustainment Business Case Analysis (SBCA) and sustainment planning activities for major modernization and capital equipment programs. The successful candidate will work directly with project teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to support requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, business analysis, and recommendation development. Project Background This initiative supports the development of Sustainment Business Case Analyses used to inform: Long-term sustainment strategies Lifecycle support planning Procurement decisions Costing and affordability assessments Risk analysis Executive-level decision making Work Location & Conditions The Contractor's resource will: Work primarily on-site at Federal Government facilities within the NCR Be required to work on-site up to five (5) days per week Work in a secure environment supporting classified programs Be eligible to work within a Controlled Goods environment Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements Facilitate stakeholder consultations and engagement sessions Conduct business analysis in support of sustainment planning activities Develop reports, recommendations, and decision-support documentation Analyze current and future-state business processes Prepare executive briefings and presentation materials Support business case development and strategic analysis Collaborate with project teams and senior stakeholders Mandatory Requirements MT.1 – Sustainment Planning / Business Case Analysis Experience Must demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of experience conducting business analysis in support of: Sustainment Planning projects; and/or Business Case Analysis (BCA) projects MT.2 – Stakeholder Engagement Experience Must demonstrate experience leading or managing stakeholder engagement activities on at least two (2) Sustainment Planning or Business Case Analysis projects. MT.3 – Business Analysis Experience Must demonstrate experience with: Requirements gathering Stakeholder consultation Business analysis and reporting Executive briefing support Recommendation development Education & Experience Requirements University degree (undergraduate, graduate, or PhD) OR College / CEGEP diploma or certificate Relevant business analysis certification is considered an asset Security Requirements Active Government of Canada SECRET Clearance Ability to work on-site within secure Government facilities Eligibility to work in a Controlled Goods environment How to Apply If you meet the mandatory requirements, please submit your resume outlining your qualifications and relevant project experience.
