Job details
ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a Canadian medical device company on a mission to improve patient outcomes through innovations that harness the natural world around us. With an innovative wound care and infection control portfolio and ambitious plans for continued growth, the organization is looking for a Territory Manager to expand its business throughout the Greater Toronto Area. This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of a market. You will identify the strongest opportunities, build relationships within healthcare facilities, create demand, overcome adoption barriers, and convert that work into sustainable sales growth. The company is looking for an entrepreneurial medical device professional who wants the freedom to think independently and the accountability that comes with owning the sales results. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Remain accountable for achieving and exceeding territory sales objectives. Build a strategic territory plan that prioritizes the healthcare facilities and customer opportunities with the greatest growth potential. Identify and develop new relationships with healthcare professionals and institutional decision-makers. Introduce customers to innovative wound care solutions and build support for product utilization. Expand existing business by identifying additional customer needs and opportunities for broader product adoption. Build productive relationships with distributors and other stakeholders who can support territory growth. Requirements THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Education & Training College or university education in Business, Science, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred. Relevant medical device or clinical training is considered an asset. Work Experience & Accomplishments 3+ years of medical device sales experience within acute care healthcare facilities in the Greater Toronto Area is required. Knowledge of wound care or surgical markets would provide a strong advantage. Proven success generating new business and developing customer relationships from the ground up. Experience consistently achieving or surpassing assigned sales objectives. Skills & Competencies Entrepreneurial approach to territory management with a strong sense of personal ownership and accountability. Proactive new-business mentality with the motivation to create opportunities rather than wait for them. Persistent sales style and the judgement to distinguish between an objection that can be overcome and an opportunity that should be deprioritized. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish credibility with healthcare professionals. Creative problem-solving capabilities with the confidence to develop account-specific approaches. Competitive drive supported by a professional and relationship-oriented approach to selling. Benefits WHAT THE COMPANY OFFERS The ability to represent an innovative wound care portfolio focused on improving patient outcomes. Significant autonomy to determine how you develop accounts and expand market presence. An entrepreneurial environment that values initiative, creativity, persistence, and execution. Annual salary ($90,000), commission on all sales, car allowance, and office expense allowance.
