Key Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate. Utilize specialized tools such as electrical testing equipment. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance data. What We’re Looking For Certification: Sheet metal Apprentice, Journeyman, or B ticket is considered a strong asset. Experience: Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a solid understanding of HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems and mechanical knowledge. Construction Background: Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or maintenance is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans accurately; familiarity with mechanical equipment repair and refrigeration units. Bonus Skills: Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications and general property maintenance is preferred. Field Proficiency: Strong troubleshooting experience to resolve mechanical issues efficiently on-site using testing tools like ohmmeters while maintaining high HVAC/R safety standards. What You’ll Need Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently in diverse environments. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
