You will work strictly on internal properties (apartments, townhouses, commercial spaces) owned and managed by Rockport Investment Group across Winnipeg. We run a small, tight-knit crew and offer steady, year-round work servicing our utility systems with zero seasonal winter layoffs. Key Responsibilities Septic Truck Operation: Safely operate a vacuum truck to service, pump, and maintain holding tanks and septic systems across our managed properties. Help Anywhere: Work flexibly in a small crew. Be willing to step out of the cab to handle hoses, manage fittings, or assist with general utility maintenance. Winter Work: Maintain consistent, full-time hours through the Winnipeg winter handling utility servicing and supporting frozen site operations. Compliance: Perform mandatory daily pre-trip/post-trip circle check inspections and maintain standards according to Manitoba Safety Fitness Certificate (SFC) requirements. Ensure all dumping adheres to provincial wastewater disposal regulations. Qualifications & Manitoba Requirements Licence: Valid Manitoba Class 3 Driver’s Licence with Air Brakes (A Endorsement) is mandatory. Clean driver's abstract required. Certification: Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Manitoba Sewage Hauler Registration under the Onsite Wastewater Management Systems Regulation. Site Experience: Proven previous experience working on active construction sites or managed properties operating commercial vacuum units and handling PTO systems. Technical Skill: Ability to interpret basic site blueprints and utility maps to locate underground tanks and lines independently. Physical Demand: Must be capable of repeatedly lifting and pulling heavy, fluid-filled vacuum hoses (50+ lbs) and concrete tank lids.
