About the Company Our client, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking a Corporate Law Clerk to join their growing team. Responsibilities Handle annual corporate maintenance including business name registrations, extra-provincial renewals, and routine matters such as director/officer changes, redemptions, and dividend distributions. Draft and issue filings related to incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances (import/export), dissolutions, revivals, and partnership agreements (both general and limited). Perform minute book reviews and rectify any deficiencies in corporate records. Assist with complex, multi-jurisdictional corporate transactions, including tax-driven reorganizations. Maintain and update the corporate records database. Requirements Corporate Law Clerk or Paralegal qualification, or equivalent degree/diploma. 5+ years of experience in a busy corporate transactional law firm environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong understanding of corporate law in various Canadian jurisdictions. Compensation This role offers a competitive salary up to $100,000, commensurate with experience, excellent benefits, and a hybrid remote schedule. We do not use AI to screen candidates.
