Title: Payroll Administrator Schedule: Onsite Location: Windsor, ON N8W 5A7 Pay Range: $23 - $25 hourly Job Summary The Payroll Administrator will support the Finance and HR teams by managing accurate and timely payroll processing and related administrative activities. This role requires strong payroll knowledge, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and a strong understanding of Canadian payroll practices and requirements. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update employee payroll information, including attendance, leave, overtime, benefits, and other payroll-related data. Calculate employee wages and benefit entitlements in Canadian currency using ADP Workforce Now. Prepare and verify employee earnings statements, including gross and net pay, statutory deductions, garnishments, benefits, RRSP contributions, and other deductions. Process regular payroll payments, bonuses, vacation pay, and other special payments accurately and on time. Prepare payroll filings and supporting documentation, including T4s, Records of Employment (ROEs), RRSP documentation, and other required statements. Prepare, review, and balance period-end payroll reports. Reconcile payroll payments and investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies. Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee, payroll, and financial records. Respond to payroll-related questions from employees and management in a professional and timely manner. Support the Finance team with accounting, reporting, administrative, and other related tasks as needed. Requirements Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now. Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Payroll Administration, or a related field. Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll administration, payroll taxes, employment standards, and related regulations. Experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable is preferred. Visual experience is considered an asset. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Comfortable communicating with employees, management, and internal departments at various levels. Full-cycle accounts payable and receivable experience is preferred; the role also requires English fluency, accuracy, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills, discretion, and effective communication.
