Java Full Stack Developer – Angular

Client: Citi Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada – Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 8+ Years Application Deadline: September 25, 2026 Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer – Angular with 8+ years of full-stack development experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, and TypeScript, along with hands-on experience developing scalable enterprise applications. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of microservices architecture, SQL/relational databases, cloud technologies, Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and Angular. Develop robust backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs. Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript. Develop web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Design and implement solutions based on microservices architecture. Work with SQL and relational databases to develop and optimize data solutions. Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs. Participate in application design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment. Use Git for source control and collaborate through modern development workflows. Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Work with cloud technologies to develop and deploy enterprise applications. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions. Collaborate with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and other technical teams. Follow software engineering best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development. Strong hands-on experience with Java. Strong expertise in Spring Boot. Extensive experience developing REST APIs. Hands-on experience with Angular. Strong knowledge of TypeScript. Experience with: HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript Strong understanding of microservices architecture. Experience working with SQL and relational databases. Knowledge of cloud technologies. Experience with Git and source-control practices. Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Technical Skills Enterprise application development using Java and Spring Boot. Modern Angular application development. Microservices-based application design and integration. Cloud-based application development and deployment. CI/CD and DevOps practices. Experience working in large-scale Agile development environments. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a senior full-stack developer with strong Java/Spring Boot backend expertise and solid Angular/TypeScript frontend experience.
