We are hiring for a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant at our Ellerslie location in Edmonton, AB. You will be responsible for: Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests. Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer. Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections. Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies. Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist. You have: Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience. A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude. What you’ll do

The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for processing prescriptions, inputting patient data, and managing pharmacy inventory and stock. They also handle billing information and ensure adherence to company operational procedures and merchandising programs.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or possess at least 2 years of dispensary experience. Strong communication skills, a professional work ethic, and familiarity with Kroll software are highly valued.
