The Village of Wentworth Heights has an exciting opportunity for a Scheduling Coordinator to join their team. • Status: Temporary Part-Time • Location: 1620 Upper Wentworth St, Hamilton, ON L9B 2W3 • Expected Start Date: ASAP The expected hiring range for this position is $16,400 to $18,500. This role falls within a broader internal salary band, with growth opportunities based on demonstrated performance. How Schlegel Villages supports our Team Members: * Competitive salary, and benefits; * Significant opportunities for Growth and Development * Ongoing Team Member Appreciation incentives and rewards and recognition * Extended Health Benefits & Retirement Savings * Individualized Assistance for Team Member Education and Development * Loans and Scholarships to help our team members realize their greatest potential * Financial Hardship Support Program: Wilfred Schlegel Hope Fund * A Unique Family Culture As our new Scheduling Coordinator, you will: * Work closely with the Village leaders to ensure all shifts are filled on a daily basis. * Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills * Send out shift requests as per the village collective agreement. * Collaborate with the village leaders to plan for vacation coverage of team members. * Prioritize village needs as per the vacancy report. * Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members * Be the first point of contact for many of our team, residents, families and visitors * Connect with employment agencies when shifts are not internally filled. * Provide exceptional customer experience while acting as the first point of contact for team member questions about schedules, call-ins and open shifts. * Support administrative assistance with office coverage. * Create exceptional customer experiences for incoming queries, from residents, families and team members. * Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support. To be successful as the Scheduling Coordinator, you will: * Have an office administration certificate or equivalent experience. * Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills. * Efficient in the ability to manage conflicting priorities. * Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other computer programs. * Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members. It would be an asset if you have: * Previous experience working in the context of a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home.
