Your Opportunity at SECURE As a Powder Blender, you will play an important role in preparing and blending bulk powder materials that support the production of high-quality products. You will operate blending and lift-truck equipment, follow batch records and Standard Operating Procedures, complete required documentation, and ensure materials are safely prepared for packaging. This is a hands-on opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual who takes pride in accuracy, quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. This role is based out of Leduc, Alberta. The Team You will join a hands-on production team that works closely with Supervisors, Leads, and trainers to complete daily blending activities safely and efficiently. The team values collaboration, accountability, and supporting one another while ensuring procedures and quality standards are consistently followed. Work Environment This is a physically active, production-based role that requires you to work on your feet for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds. You will work around blending equipment, bulk powder materials, and lift trucks while following established safety procedures, wearing required PPE, and keeping the work area clean and organized. A Day in The Life Completes work safely and follows all company safety standards and procedures. Operates blending equipment as well as lift trucks. Reads, understands, and follows batch records. Prepares and mixes bulk powder materials in strict accordance with company formulation, quality standards, and production schedules under supervision. Discharges bulk material into packaging and containers. Operates, assembles/dis-assembles, and cleans all primary and auxiliary equipment. Completes batch and other paperwork as needed, with thorough understanding. Works with Supervisors, Leads, and trainers to verify all procedures have been followed. Performs all duties according to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices. Maintains a clean, neat work area by removing trash and sweeping as needed. Performs other related duties as required.
