Join Securiguard as an Undercover Loss Prevention Officer and play an active role in preventing retail theft through surveillance, observation, and detailed reporting. This is not a static security position-you'll work undercover in a fast-paced retail environment where strong observation, sound judgment, and professionalism are essential. If you're observant, proactive, and confident working independently, this role offers an opportunity to build specialized experience in loss prevention, retail security, surveillance, and investigations while helping protect people, property, and retail operations. What You'll Do Conduct undercover surveillance to identify theft, suspicious activity, and security risks. Monitor customer behaviour and identify patterns or activity that may indicate potential theft. Maintain a discreet and professional presence while working throughout the retail environment. Respond to security concerns and incidents in accordance with company and client procedures. Complete accurate, detailed, and professional incident reports and case documentation. Work closely with store management and fellow security professionals to support loss prevention efforts. Identify and report safety concerns, security risks, and operational issues. Maintain strong situational awareness and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment. Work across retail locations as operationally required. Requirements Valid BC Security Worker License in good standing. Minimum 2 years of security experience, with retail or mall experience preferred. Previous loss prevention or undercover security experience is an asset. Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA 1) or equivalent is an asset. Strong observation and situational awareness skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong report-writing and documentation abilities. Ability to remain calm, professional, and discreet in challenging situations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel between locations as required. Working knowledge of applicable legislation, including the Criminal Code of Canada, Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and Trespass Act, is an asset. Requirements

Candidates should have strong observation, communication, and reporting skills, remain calm and discreet, work independently, and be available for flexible hours and travel between locations.
