Position Overview Position Description & Qualifications Serco Canada is seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Operations & Growth Coordinator to support the Managing Director and senior leadership team. This role is ideal for an early-career professional seeking exposure to executive leadership, government relations, business development, and corporate operations, or for an experienced administrator looking to expand their responsibilities within a dynamic and growing organization. The successful candidate will help coordinate strategic initiatives, support stakeholder engagement activities, manage executive priorities, and assist with the planning and execution of key business and customer-facing events. Key Responsibilities Business Development Support Assist with customer engagement activities and follow-up actions. Support capture and business development efforts through coordination and research. Maintain opportunity tracking tools and action item registers. Assist with preparation of presentations, briefings, and customer materials. Conduct market and competitor research. Government Relations & Stakeholder Engagement Support outreach and engagement activities with government, industry, and partner stakeholders. Track government, defence, aerospace, and public sector initiatives of relevance to Serco. Assist in preparing briefing notes, backgrounders, stakeholder profiles, and meeting materials. Maintain stakeholder contact databases and engagement records. Coordinate meetings with government, industry, and customer representatives. Executive Coordination & Operations Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and senior leaders. Coordinate calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and executive logistics. Prepare meeting agendas and track decisions and action items. Provide office/facility administrative support Assist with planning and coordination of strategic initiatives and internal projects. Support corporate reporting and operational activities as required. Events & Corporate Engagement Coordinate participation in conferences, trade shows, customer events, and industry association activities. Manage event logistics, registrations, guest lists, and follow-up actions. Support visits by customers, partners, and Serco leadership. Qualifications Degree or diploma in Political Science, Public Administration, Business, International Affairs, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project coordination abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications. Strong attention to detail and professionalism. Interest in government relations, defence, aerospace, public affairs, or business development.
