(www.siriuspersonnel.com) Profile: Our client is a well-established manufacturer of customized panel and component solutions serving a diverse range of B2B markets. They are looking for a Business Development Rep to expand their presence throughout Ontario and identify new opportunities with manufacturers and OEMs across multiple industries. Your role will be to find and develop OEM's and manufacturing accounts who can use our products to build their products. You will look for businesses that use engineered, laminated and finished panel components in their products. Territory: Ontario Workplace: Home office (must be located close to larger centers in Ontario) Products/Services: Panel (laminated) & components Salary: Base $75,000-$85,000 Commissions/Bonus: On target earnings $120,000-$130,000+ uncapped commissions Car allowance: $700/month + expenses Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed Other Benefits: Medical Long term disability Paid 50% by employer and after 3 months Functions: Identify, prospect and develop new OEM and manufacturing accounts throughout Ontario Spend approximately 80% of your time hunting for new business and developing new revenue opportunities Identify opportunities across a variety of markets including modular products, transportation, specialty vehicles, trailers, furniture, cabinetry, construction and other manufacturing sectors Develop relationships with owners, executives, purchasing, engineering, operations and other key decision-makers Present customized solutions and develop proposals based on customer requirements Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and closing Grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling and identifying additional applications Maintain accurate and timely activity, pipeline and opportunity information in CRM Requirements: Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20% Road vs Office: 80% vs 20% Languages: Excellent written and spoken English Education: College degree of equivalent Training: On the job training provided Overnight Travel: About 2 days per month Years of experience: At least 3 years in a similar role Other requirements: Experience selling to OEMs is a plus Transferable contacts: OEM manufacturers and purchasing managers are a plus Contacts with owners/VPs of smaller manufacturers are a plus Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge of how manufacturers work

Requirements

Requires at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably selling to OEMs. A college degree or equivalent is required, along with excellent English communication skills.
