Our Montreal office is currently looking for a bilingual Patent Agent, Patent Agent Trainee, or Patent Lawyer to join our national EICT Patent group. In this role, you will work closely with world-class leaders in IP helping our team create business value by managing, obtaining, and leveraging IP assets for the benefit of our clients. We are confident the right candidate will find many opportunities to learn and grow within our firm. Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience. Bachelor’s, Master’s, and/or PhD in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Minimum 4 years of experience as a Patent Agent or Patent Agent Trainee Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail Strong communication, client‑facing, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities Bilingual: strong written and spoken English and French No recruiters or agencies please.

Requirements

Requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 4 years of experience as a Patent Agent or Trainee. Candidates must be bilingual in English and French with strong drafting and analytical skills.
