Job summary
Workplace Industrial Division at Connect Hearing is seeking an Industrial Audiometric Technician to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This position is expected to begin on September 28, 2026, and is anticipated to continue for approximately four months, ending in January 2027. This temporary position is intended to provide coverage for an employee leave of absence. While the anticipated term is approximately four months, the end date may be adjusted based on the employee's return to work. Employment will conclude at the end of the fixed-term contract unless it is extended based on operational requirements. The successful applicant must reside in Vernon, Armstrong, Enderby, or Salmon Arm, BC. Training No previous experience in occupational hearing testing is required. Comprehensive training is provided through BCIT and Connect Hearing. Role Responsibilities As an Industrial Audiometric Technician, you will: Conduct on-site occupational hearing tests in accordance with WorkSafeBC regulations. Perform respirator fit testing. Complete accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Microsoft Office 365 and mobile applications. Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Connect Hearing at client worksites. Travel Requirements This role involves extensive travel throughout British Columbia. You can expect to be away from home approximately 50–75% of each month, with some weeks spent working locally within the Okanagan.
