Title: Automation Engineer Client: Energy and Utilities Location: Calgary, AB Onsite - 5 days in office ( 8:00 AM – 05:00 PM MST ) Contract Duration: 6 months, renewable Rate : $50- $60/hr T4 OR Incorp Skills: IT Service Management Consulting/ Network Testing and Automation/BFS : Asset Management/ Project Management/Service Management Experience Required: 8-10 Years Role Descriptions: Automation Engineer| Project Management| IT Service Management experience| Strong CMDB and Asset Management experience| Experience with external asset discovery and attack surface management solutions. Strong process governance and operational transformation background Experience defining KPIs| SLAs| and sustainable operating models Develop| document| and implement a formal process for validating newly discovered external and internet-facing assets identified through approved Security Technology tools against authoritative asset inventories (CMDB). Top 3 Must Have Skills: -Python, PowerShell, and REST API development experience -Hands-on automation experience -Strong CMDB and Asset Management experience

Requirements

Requires 8–10 years of experience, with strong hands-on automation skills and experience developing with Python, PowerShell, and REST APIs. Candidates should also have strong CMDB and asset management experience, plus familiarity with external asset discovery and attack surface management solutions.
