Job summary

WEEKEND ROVER Southern Alberta Community Living Association is currently recruiting for a Community Support Worker Rover Position. This position will be used to fill a variety of shifts in up to four (4) separate homes during the scheduled hours of work. The CSW will be assigned to locations of work based on the support needs of the individuals as identified by the Team Leader/Scheduling Coordinator; shift assignments will be subject to change depending on the need. This CSW MUST have the ability to work in all homes with all individuals. This position, working closely with a team of Community Support Workers, will require a flexible person who is a positive, motivated and outgoing individual. Someone who has mental health first aid would be an asset. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated history of supporting individuals with all levels of support, good computer skills and excellent communication skills including English language skills both written and verbal. As a team member, the CSW strives to communicate in a considerate, thoughtful and attentive manner with their co-workers and the individuals we support. A CSW will represent the Association courteously and professionally in all interactions that they have with guardians, other agencies and the community at large.
