Job details

About the Role For over 60 years, our organization has supported members of more than 44,000 unions, professional associations, and membership groups throughout North America. The people we serve come from many different backgrounds, including healthcare, education, public service, emergency services, the military, and other essential professions. Our representatives connect with members and families who have expressed interest in learning more about supplemental benefit programs available to them. Instead of relying on traditional cold outreach, you'll work with individuals who have already requested information and are expecting assistance. Your responsibility is to make that process simple: understand what the client is looking for, explain the available options, answer questions, and provide continued support. What Your Day Could Look Like This is a virtual, client-facing position where you'll manage scheduled appointments and maintain relationships with the individuals you assist. Typical responsibilities include: Connecting with members who have requested benefit information Coordinating and completing scheduled virtual appointments Speaking with individuals and families to understand their priorities Reviewing available coverage and benefit solutions Explaining program details and answering client questions Helping clients determine which options may suit their circumstances Providing assistance throughout the enrollment process Following up with clients after appointments Maintaining organized records and appointment information Building ongoing professional relationships with clients Participating in virtual training, coaching, and development Working toward individual and team performance objectives You'll follow an established process and receive training designed to help you become comfortable with client conversations, presentations, and the systems used in the role. The People Who Do Well Here You don't need to come from the insurance industry to be considered. We're looking for individuals who are dependable, motivated, and comfortable working with people. You may be a strong fit if you: Communicate clearly and professionally Enjoy speaking with and assisting new people Listen carefully and ask thoughtful questions Manage your time and appointments effectively Are comfortable working with computers and virtual platforms Can stay productive while working independently Follow through on commitments and client follow-ups Welcome coaching and constructive feedback Are motivated by goals and measurable results Want to continue developing professionally Experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, or another people-focused environment can be helpful, but previous experience isn't required. Applicants must be able to successfully complete a routine background check. Training, Compensation & Career Development We provide the resources and ongoing support needed to learn the position and continue developing over time. The opportunity includes: Comprehensive initial training Continued mentorship and coaching Fully remote work Flexible full-time scheduling Weekly compensation Performance-based bonuses Residual income opportunities Health, dental, and vision benefits for qualifying agents Performance-based advancement opportunities Leadership and management development Recognition programs Company incentive travel for qualifying performers Long-term opportunities within an established industry Previous incentive destinations have included locations such as Cancun, Puerto Rico, Las Vegas, the Bahamas, and Disney destinations. Build More Than Experience For individuals who are motivated to grow, this position provides an opportunity to develop skills that extend beyond the day-to-day role. You'll gain experience in communication, client relationship management, presentations, organization, and leadership. Advancement is performance-driven, allowing individuals who demonstrate strong results and consistency to pursue additional responsibilities and leadership opportunities. Most importantly, the work you do has a clear purpose: helping individuals and families understand their options and make informed decisions about protecting themselves and the people who matter to them. If you're looking for a remote career that combines flexibility, professional development, earning potential, and opportunities for advancement, we encourage you to apply and learn more.
