Team development — Lead, coach, and develop the HR & Safety team while ensuring effective delivery of all HR and safety programs. Employee relations — Oversee employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, investigations, terminations, restructuring, and employment‑related risk. Talent & engagement — Manage recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives. Total rewards & compliance — Oversee compensation, benefits, HR systems, payroll processes, and ensure compliance with employment, human rights, accessibility, and workplace legislation. Health & safety leadership — Provide strategic oversight of occupational health & safety programs, including training, inspections, WSIB, RTW, incident investigations, and continuous improvement of safety performance. Requirements: 15+ years HR leadership plus OHS experience; JHSC participation an asset. Post‑secondary HR education with CHRP/CHRL designation; bilingualism an asset. Proven ability to lead teams, coach leaders, and manage complex workplace matters. Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, HR systems, and OHS. Strategic thinker with sound judgment and professionalism in confidential situations. Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict‑resolution, and change‑management abilities.
