. Journeyman Carpenter - (rate same) Project for 10 weeks About the Position We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry, a strong understanding of construction methods, and a commitment to quality workmanship and job-site safety. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans Perform framing, trim work, finish carpentry, and general construction tasks Measure, cut, shape, and install building materials Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, drywall, and other components as needed Safely operate hand and power tools Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality Work independently and as part of a construction team Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and project specifications Qualifications Journeyman-level carpentry experience Proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately Proficiency with common carpentry tools and equipment Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism [Journeyman card, apprenticeship completion, or relevant certification preferred]
