Job summary

The attendant is responsible for serving customers at counters, taking orders, and preparing simple food items. Additionally, they maintain cleanliness by clearing tables and stocking refrigerators and salad bars.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: No experience (will train) Tasks Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs Package take-out food Portion and wrap foods Prepare, heat and finish simple food items Serve customers at counters or buffet tables Stock refrigerators and salad bars Take customers' orders Support for newcomers and refugees Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees Support for youths Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth Support for Indigenous people Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week
