Now we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher to join the team at our Production Bakery. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Wash and sanitize dishes, baking trays, sheet pans, utensils, mixing bowls, equipment, and other production tools • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dishwashing and sanitation area • Ensure clean equipment and tools are returned to the appropriate production areas promptly • Assist with general cleaning and sanitation throughout the Production Bakery • Clean floors, work surfaces, sinks, equipment, and other areas as required • Follow proper food safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and health & safety procedures • Remove garbage, recycling, and waste and maintain designated disposal areas • Support Bakery production teams by ensuring they have the clean equipment and tools needed throughout the day • Assist with general Bakery duties and cleaning tasks as required • Work efficiently during busy production periods while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Reliable, punctual, and ready to work as part of a busy production team • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen or bakery environment • Able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift • Physically capable of standing for extended periods and regularly bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling • Comfortable working around commercial dishwashing equipment, water, heat, and cleaning products • Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety • Able to work independently while also supporting the broader Bakery team • Previous dishwasher, kitchen, bakery, or food-production experience is an asset but not required • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as required PERKS OF WORKING HERE • Weekly pay • Employee discount on gourmet groceries and prepared meals • Employer-paid benefits for full-time employees • Flexible schedule • A dynamic, inclusive workplace that celebrates its people • Complimentary work swag (we’ll keep you looking sharp) • Easily accessible store locations JOIN OUR TEAM If you’re looking for a workplace where food meets community and where your role really makes a difference, Summerhill Market is the place. The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all production tools, baking equipment, and kitchen areas to maintain a safe and organized environment. They also support the bakery production team by ensuring clean equipment is available and managing waste disposal.

Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and capable of performing repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced bakery environment. While previous kitchen or food-production experience is considered an asset, it is not strictly required.
