Branch Supervisor – Inside Sales Concord, Ontario An Opportunity to Take Ownership of a Key Branch Operation Our client is a well-established national company providing engineered products and manufacturing solutions to a diverse range of industries across Canada. With a strong reputation in their marketplace and a collaborative team environment, they are looking for an experienced Inside Sales representative to play a key role in the success of their Concord, Ontario operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced inside sales or order desk professional who is ready to take on greater responsibility and ownership without stepping into a traditional people-management role. You will be the key point of contact at the branch, building strong customer relationships while ensuring the day-to-day operation runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with customers, the Business Development team and head office, making this a role that offers variety, autonomy and meaningful responsibility within an established national organization. Key Responsibilities Manage inside sales and order desk activities, including quoting, order processing, customer inquiries and follow-up. Build strong customer relationships and provide knowledgeable, responsive service. Support the Business Development team with customer requirements, quotations and order coordination. Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the Concord branch, including opening, closing and ensuring the facility is operationally ready. Serve as the primary branch contact for customers, suppliers and routine facility matters. Work closely with head office to ensure effective communication and coordination. Provide backup support for shipping and receiving, including occasional forklift operation (training provided). Participate on the Health & Safety Committee and contribute to a safe, organized workplace. What We're Looking For Proven experience in inside sales, order desk or customer service, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. A confident, professional communicator who enjoys working with customers and colleagues. Someone who takes initiative, follows through on commitments and is comfortable taking ownership without requiring constant direction. A mature, dependable and practical approach, combined with strong customer service instincts. Previous experience with shipping/receiving or warehouse operations is an asset.
