Job summary

Our client, a specialized provider of innovative production optimization and compression solutions for the energy industry, is seeking an Inside Applications Sales Technician to support business growth across Western Canada. Working out of the company’s Calgary office, this role combines inside sales, account management, technical marketing, and customer support. The successful candidate will work closely with existing and prospective clients, prepare technical and commercial proposals, develop marketing content, and help promote the company's technologies and services. The ideal individual will possess strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and an interest in energy production operations and equipment. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries and manage incoming sales opportunities. Prepare quotations, RFQ responses, and technical/commercial proposals. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for account growth. Develop technical marketing materials, presentations, case studies, and sales collateral. Manage website content, social media activity, and customer newsletters. Maintain accurate customer, contact, and opportunity records within the CRM system. Monitor market activity, industry trends, and competitive developments. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings. Develop a strong understanding of the company's technologies and their field applications. Support additional sales and marketing initiatives as required. Qualifications Technical diploma, engineering technology diploma, engineering degree, or equivalent industry experience. Previous experience in technical sales, inside sales, marketing, or customer support within the oil & gas, energy, industrial, or manufacturing sectors is preferred. Knowledge of production operations, artificial lift, compression, process facilities, or production optimization would be considered an asset. Strong technical writing and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Experience managing website content, digital marketing, or social media platforms is advantageous. Remuneration for this position will consist of a base salary between $70-90K commensurate upon experience, performance bonus and benefit program
