Job Description: The Tele-Interview team plays a critical role in the life and health insurance application process by conducting professional telephone interviews with clients applying for insurance coverage. In this role, you will collect confidential personal, lifestyle, and health-related information while delivering an exceptional client experience and ensuring accurate documentation of all information obtained. As a Tele-Interviewer, you will serve as a key point of contact for clients, advisors, and Underwriting teams. You will maintain high standards of professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service while supporting operational efficiency and compliance requirements. What will you do? Conduct telephone interviews with clients applying for Life or Critical Illness Insurance. Collect personal, medical, lifestyle, and health-related information through recorded interviews. Accurately document client responses and ensure all required information is complete and compliant. Provide a professional, client-focused experience during every interaction. Schedule and conduct follow-up calls when clients are unavailable or additional information is required. Answer client questions regarding the insurance application process and direct inquiries to appropriate business partners when necessary. Manage assigned cases to meet service-level expectations while maintaining high accuracy, quality documentation, and strong organizational skills to handle competing priorities. Communicate proactively with advisors and internal partners, actively participate in team activities, and foster a respectful, inclusive, and adaptable team environment. Handle confidential client information and company records in strict accordance with privacy, security, compliance standards, and Code of Conduct requirements. What do you need to succeed? Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada. Minimum 2 years of customer service, contact centre, or telephone-based client support experience. Excellent listening, interviewing, and relationship-building skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive personal information. Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to type accurately while actively engaging with clients. Assets Experience in insurance, healthcare, financial services, or a related regulated environment. Knowledge of life insurance products and underwriting processes. Familiarity with medical terminology, conditions, and medications. Previous experience conducting structured telephone interviews.
