Compensation Information: $28.76 per hour Physical Requirement: Heavy; work activities involve handling loads up to 35kg; both indoor and outdoor setting. Extensive knowledge of Fan Type Snow guns and the operation and maintenance of such. Understand gravity feed and booster pump water systems. Have strong planning, time management, and supervisory skills. Able to work shift work and odd hours with overtime when required. Strong skier/boarder; able to competently ski on Intermediate Designated trails. Primary Responsibilities Maintain the snowmaking system, including guns, pumps, hydrants, valves, and associated equipment. Work with the Snowmaking Manager. Maintain accurate, timely, and up to date records of inventory, maintenance, repairs, operational logs, water use, snowmaking production, labor, and employee training, special project tracking (OSV) and weekly safety meetings. Undertake all accident/incident investigations and associated paperwork in this department within the required timeline. Utility crew supervision. Jobs may include but are not limited to: snow fencing set up and maintenance, run signage, and improvements), erosion control, winter multi use trails layout and maintenance, Nordic ski trail maintenance, etc. To assist other departments when required. Requirements

Requires at least 5 seasons of snowmaking experience with 2 years in a supervisory role and technical knowledge of fan guns and water systems. Candidates must be competent intermediate skiers or boarders and capable of heavy physical labor up to 35kg.
