Role: Under limited supervision, assembles, troubleshoots and maintains all mechanical/electrical equipment and systems. Performs general maintenance, renovations and repairs of machines, equipment and other company’s property. Works closely with production team and contractors on maintenance matters. Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday 8:30pm - 7am \n Duties and Responsibilities: Installs, maintains and repairs all mechanical and electrical systems and all machineries at the plant. Provide support to production in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdowns. Complies with all necessary manufacturing codes, regulations and standards i.e. GMP, HACCP, WHIMIS, MSDS etc. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration activities. Maintain an updated record of PM. Identify opportunities to continuously improve maintenance operations Actively promote health and safety in the workplace. Completes Maintenance reports and logs as required Performs all tasks as per recommended job methods, procedures etc. as well as the preventive maintenance of plant production machines/equipment. Oversees installation, operation, maintenance and repairs of machines and equipment are ensure that they function according to specifications. Investigates equipment/machine failures and faulty operation and perform required repairs. Performs preventive maintenance to production and common areas. Performs and assists on other maintenance duties as required. Use power and hand tools and equipment in an efficient manner and maintain them in a clean operating condition. Complete work orders as assigned by Maintenance Manager and/or Senior Management/ Chief Engineer. Requirements: Must have a Industrial Red Seal Ticket 4th class Power Engineer Ticket (Asset) Preferably with electrical/mechanical experience in a food manufacturing environment. Strong preventive and troubleshooting ability. Able to pass a fit test mask and TRST supplied by Company.
