Senior Business Analyst – Global Payments & Money Movement Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM | 40 hrs/week On-site: Wednesday + Thursday, plus 1 rotational day based on project/meeting requirements Start Date: October 1, 2026 Contract: 6 months, with potential for extension or conversion to FTE Interview: 2 rounds – virtual + in-person Pay: T4 - $45-52 INC - $54-64 Why This Role Stands Out 🌎 Work on global cross-border payment solutions 💳 Gain hands-on exposure to the payments and financial services domain 🔄 Work across multiple applications and products 🤝 Partner directly with business and technology stakeholders 📊 Use SQL and Power BI to analyze data and support reporting 🚀 Take ownership of requirements, project discussions and delivery activities 🔀 Opportunity to move across projects and gain broad technology exposure 📈 Potential for the contract to be extended or converted to FTE What You'll Do As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll provide analysis and leadership across strategic projects and initiatives, including: Lead end-to-end requirements gathering and documentation Work with business partners, technology teams and stakeholders to understand current-state processes and define target-state solutions Document business requirements, process flows, use cases and project deliverables Lead project discussions and facilitate cross-functional stakeholder meetings Analyze complex business and technology problems and translate findings into actionable recommendations Support testing, UAT and implementation activities Develop and maintain project plans, milestone tracking, risk/action/issue logs and decision logs Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies Support scope, schedule, cost and delivery decisions Create presentations and status updates for working teams and leadership Support process improvement, business case development and benefits planning Contribute to change management and business implementation activities What We're Looking For Must Have: 7+ years of Business Analyst experience 5+ years of Jira experience 2+ years of payments experience 4+ years of SQL and Power BI/reporting experience Strong understanding of business requirements, process analysis and documentation Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working on complex, large-scale initiatives AI knowledge/understanding Payments Experience Candidates with experience across areas such as the following are particularly relevant: Cross-border payments Money transfers Payment processing Payment rails Cards Wires Interac Multi-currency transactions End-to-end payment flows Customer payment journeys Nice to Have Banking or financial services experience Payment rails experience Exposure to front-office/back-office financial operations Capital Markets, trading or investment platforms
