Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Conveyancer to join a busy real estate practice. The successful candidate will manage residential conveyancing files, coordinate with clients and industry professionals, and ensure transactions are completed accurately and efficiently. Candidates earlier in their careers who demonstrate strong initiative and a willingness to learn may also be considered. Responsibilities Conduct due diligence and title searches. Review contracts, title searches, and related legal documents. Prepare sale, purchase, and mortgage documentation for residential conveyancing matters. Correspond with clients, solicitors, conveyancers, mortgage brokers, and real estate agents. Electronically register documents with the Land Title Office. Prepare reporting to clients and lenders. Manage multiple files and deadlines while maintaining strong client service. Qualifications 3+ years of conveyancing experience preferred, with training available for the right candidate. Completion of a recognized Legal Assistant or Paralegal program is an asset. Proficiency with BC Online, eConvey, and e-filing. Subdivision experience is an asset. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and client-service skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
