Key Responsibilities Design industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, grounding, cable tray/conduit, lighting, controls, and equipment layouts. Prepare single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, schedules, and connection details. Perform load, demand, conductor sizing, voltage drop, grounding, and equipment-rating calculations. Ensure designs comply with the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable standards. Manage projects from scope and design through procurement, production, testing, delivery, and closeout. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, purchasing, fabrication, quality, and production teams. Prepare BOMs and material takeoffs and support RFIs, inspections, testing, and troubleshooting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. EGBC EIT or P.Eng. registration. Minimum 3 years of electrical design and project-delivery experience. Industrial electrical design experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code. Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar electrical design software. Experience in mining, utilities, data centres, oil & gas, or other industrial sectors is an asset. PMP/project management training is an asset.
