We are seeking a Family Law Litigation Associate with 3+ years of Ontario family law litigation experience, strong analytical and advocacy skills, and experience handling complex matters from legal research and drafting through negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances. Responsibilities Advise and support clients on a broad range of family law matters. Draft and negotiate domestic contracts, pleadings, Factums, legal opinions, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and provide strategic legal advice. Attend mediations, arbitrations, negotiations, and court hearings. Advocate effectively for clients and respond promptly to client communications. Assess new legislation and its potential impact on specific demographic groups. Qualifications LL.B. or JD and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. 3+ years of family law litigation experience. Strong litigation, drafting, negotiation, analytical, and business skills. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and advocacy skills. Ability to prioritize competing demands and work effectively under pressure. Comfortable with virtual and in-person hearings, negotiations, and meetings. Proficiency in DivorceMate, PCLaw, DocuSign, Adobe, Zoom, and Office 365. Strong organization, file management, and client service skills.
