Seeking a Law Clerk with 5+ years of experience to support estate planning and estate administration matters in Toronto. The ideal candidate has strong document-drafting, probate, file-management, and client-service skills, with the ability to work independently in an in-person boutique office environment. Responsibilities Open, close, and bill files; manage calendars for client intake calls, conferences, and meetings Liaise directly with clients to gather information for wills and estate planning Draft and revise estate planning documents for Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia Coordinate and witness Will signings and manage post-execution documentation Prepare reporting letters and distribute executed documents Maintain electronic and physical client files, including lawyer correspondence Communicate with banks and other institutions for estate administration matters Prepare probate applications and estate administration documents, including releases, consents, and indemnities Maintain the Wills vault inventory and assist with precedents and estate administration checklists Support overflow work in other practice areas and general Toronto office administration Qualifications Law Clerk certification from a recognized college or university 5+ years of Wills and Estates experience preferred Strong knowledge of estate planning, probate, and estate administration procedures Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills Exceptional attention to detail and reading comprehension Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and collaboratively High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion Ability to manage competing deadlines and work under pressure Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Experience with Clio and NetDocuments (NetDocs) preferred

Requirements
A recognized Law Clerk certification and preferably at least five years of Wills and Estates experience are required. Candidates should have strong knowledge of estate planning, probate, and estate administration, excellent organizational and communication skills, discretion, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; Clio and NetDocuments experience is preferred.
