Seeking a Legal Assistant with 3+ years of experience supporting lawyers or working in a professional services environment, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential client and financial information in a specialized tax practice. Responsibilities Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, memos, and client documents Maintain client files and keep document management systems current Track deadlines and manage calendars across active matters Prepare and file documents electronically and in hard copy Handle client intake calls and inquiries professionally and discreetly Assist with basic legal research under lawyer supervision Support billing, engagement letters, and general firm administration Qualifications 3+ years of experience supporting lawyers or in a professional services environment Strong legal administration graduates may be considered Excellent written English and exceptional attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently Experience with LEAP and Clio or similar practice management software Experience with QuickBooks Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly Exposure to tax, accounting, or cryptocurrency is an asset Experience with LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Notion is an asset
