LITIGATION ASSOCIATE Company Description A growing legal practice is seeking an Associate Lawyer with 3 to 5 years of experience in civil litigation to join its team. Employment law experience is preferred. This is a full-time, in-person position located in downtown Toronto, conveniently accessible by public transit. Role Description This is an opportunity to work in a modern, tech-forward legal practice that leverages AI to enhance efficiency, research, and client service. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking lawyer who embraces innovation in legal practice and can independently manage litigation files while also collaborating on complex matters. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership on a wide range of employment law matters, with a particular focus on litigation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a growing practice and play an active role in its continued development. Qualifications Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Must have a minimum of 3 years of civil litigation (trial) experience. Employment law experience preferred. Strong advocacy, negotiation, and litigation skills. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities. Comfortable using AI and legal technology tools to enhance efficiency. Ability to independently manage files and meet deadlines. Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills. Compensation & Benefits Salary plus commission. Benefits package.
