Computer Vision Specialist Position: Computer Vision Specialist Type: Contractor Compensation: $50–$90/hour Location: Remote About the Opportunity We are seeking experienced Computer Vision Specialists to contribute to a project focused on improving advanced AI systems. In this role, you will apply your expertise in computer vision, video analysis, image annotation, and visual data interpretation to help train next-generation AI models. Your work will involve reviewing video footage, analyzing visual data, identifying objects and events, annotating datasets, and providing expert feedback to improve machine learning systems. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in computer vision, video analytics, robotics, autonomous systems, or visual data processing. No prior AI experience is required — your domain expertise is what matters. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze video footage captured from robotic, automated, or camera-based systems. Identify objects, movements, events, anomalies, and important visual features within video datasets. Annotate and label visual data accurately to support machine learning and computer vision applications. Categorize objects, behaviors, and scene elements according to project requirements and annotation guidelines. Evaluate dataset quality and identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, or annotation errors. Provide detailed feedback to improve the accuracy, consistency, and usefulness of visual datasets. Collaborate with project teams to refine annotation standards and data collection methodologies. Document observations, workflows, and technical findings clearly and accurately. Participate in quality assurance reviews and resolve complex annotation edge cases. Recommend improvements to video capture, labeling processes, and dataset development practices. Required Qualifications Strong knowledge of computer vision concepts and visual data analysis. Experience working with image, video, or sensor-based datasets. Familiarity with object detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, or related computer vision workflows. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle visual patterns and anomalies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with video annotation, image labeling, dataset preparation, or data quality review. Familiarity with annotation tools and computer vision platforms. Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, or computer vision frameworks. Experience working with robotics, autonomous systems, surveillance systems, drones, or intelligent vision applications. Background in computer science, engineering, robotics, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field. Experience evaluating large-scale visual datasets and annotation workflows. Interest in AI, machine learning, and advanced computer vision technologies.
