Job summary
JOB DESCRIPTION Role Responsibilities: To perform the necessary cleaning function in the warehouse. To accurately record information on SYSCO and external documents. To provide customer service both externally and internally. Assist in inventory and purchases of janitorial supplies as requested. Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met. Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor. Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements: 2 years general warehouse or related is an asset. High school diploma preferred. Exposure to operation of material handling equipment is an asset. Ability to work in cold environments. Ability to work standing for long periods of time. Ability to multitask in a fast-pace environment.
