Missions/Main Duties Develop and maintain the V&V Strategy and Master V&V Plan for the SRS scope; Define V&V methods and evidence requirements for each level of requirements; Coordinate preparation of test procedures, inspection plans and other V&V artefacts; Track execution of V&V activities and management of findings / defects; Prepare V&V status reports and contribute to safety case and acceptance documentation. Profile/Skills University degree in Engineering; 10+ years’ experience in verification & validation, testing and commissioning or assurance for rail / transit systems; Strong knowledge of V&V planning, test methods, evidence management and defect resolution; Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders during system testing and acceptance. Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or equivalent; Formal training in verification & validation and/or testing/commissioning (CENELEC EN 50126/8/9 or similar) considered an asset SYSTRA Canada is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce. Requirements
Candidates must hold a university degree in Engineering and possess over 10 years of experience in verification, validation, testing, and commissioning for rail or transit systems. A Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Ontario is required, and formal training in CENELEC standards is considered an asset.
