Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Inside Sales Representative with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Responsibilities include selling TD SYNNEX products and/or services by phone and generating prospective customers through cold calling. You will qualify and follow up on sales leads and guide new customers through the reseller application process. What You’ll Do Service, grow, and develop a portfolio of accounts Meet all measurable daily performance standards (calls, orders, selling time, quota) Achieve assigned revenue, gross profit dollars, and gross profit percentage goals Provide pricing and product availability to customers as needed Position products and service programs aligned to customers’ business needs Maintain current customer profiles and information as requested Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA): submit requests to Customer Service when applicable Make outbound calls; prospect and qualify customers Provide estimated delivery dates (ETA) and shipping information as requested Process orders correctly and accurately; maintain backorders and consolidate accounts as required Access and navigate customer portals for major retailers (Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart) to review/prepare orders, verify pricing and availability, and meet portal-specific compliance requirements Partner with internal teams to support e-tail activities: product page optimization, promotions, shipment tracking, and performance metrics in line with partner compliance policies Support account development with an outside associate or Business Development Representative Deliver excellent follow-up and customer service on all customer requests Leverage AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance prospecting, email drafting, and account analysis in accordance with TD SYNNEX security and privacy policies Participate in weekly calls with vendors and resellers to align priorities, share updates, and resolve operational issues Attend all scheduled TD SYNNEX training initiatives, reseller/industry events, and TD SYNNEX events What We’re Looking For High school diploma required; university or post-secondary education is an asset combined with six (6) months of inside sales experience or two (2) years of related industry experience Strong desire to learn and willingness to take initiative Innovative and self-motivated Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail PC literate—MS Word and Excel Experience with generative AI and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) and the ability to integrate them into the sales workflow while adhering to data governance and confidentiality policies Experience working with e-tailers and their portals, including Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart; understanding of best practices and compliance requirements for these partners Strong cross-functional relationships Occasional extended hours and weekend conference attendance Core competencies for this role include communication, detail orientation, interpersonal skills, and sales acumen Salary Range Requirement Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
