What you’ll do
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables, then set up and adjust production machinery and tools. Operate conventional and CNC machine tools, including automatic lathes and milling machines, and verify machined-part dimensions using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements
The role requires college/CEGEP education, one to less than two years of experience, and a Machinist Trade Certification. Candidates should be able to use precision measuring tools and machining equipment, meet the English or French language requirement, and handle physically demanding, repetitive work that involves extended standing and lifting more than 45 kg.
