Join our team TELUS Health is looking for a dynamic, experienced Registered Kinesiologist and certified Personal Trainer to provide services at a busy gym facility in the Toronto area. Here's the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together The Registered Kinesiologist/Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing personal training and personalized fitness assessments to our executive clientele and work effectively with a team of Registered Kinesiologists and allied health providers. Here’s how! Works with Fitness Facility Manager, clinicians and fitness team to provide excellent client experience Conducts personalized fitness evaluations, rehabilitation consultations, ergonomic assessments and personal training sessions Adheres to strict protocols for personalized fitness evaluations Provides Personal Training services Provides clients with advice and recommendations according to assessments Designs personalized exercise programs Attends team meetings to set program targets Ensures client safety in the gym Assists in the maintenance and availability of gym equipment Qualifications What you bring: Completed Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics, Exercise Sciences or Kinesiology and registration with College of Kinesiologists CPR/First Aid AED Certification Relevant experience in a clinical and or fitness environment preferred Clinical experience preferred Experience interpreting and conducting ECG stress tests is an asset #INDTH#LI-Onsite

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics, Exercise Sciences, or Kinesiology and be registered with the College of Kinesiologists. CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required, with preference given to those with clinical or fitness environment experience.
