As an integral part of the customer service team, the Order Desk position is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient order processing while delivering exceptional service to customers. This role involves managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing product recommendations, all while utilizing industry-standard tools to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. The Order Desk team plays a critical role in maintaining customer loyalty and supporting the business’s operational efficiency. Key responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns via phone and email in a timely and professional manner. Process customer orders accurately by entering them into the system and ensuring proper documentation. Assess customer needs and provide personalized recommendations for products that best suit their requirements. Manage the flow of incoming orders, ensuring all orders are efficiently processed, tracked, and fulfilled in accordance with company standards. Respond to customer questions and resolve any issues, providing clear and helpful information. Acquire in-depth knowledge of products to effectively assist customers and answer any related inquiries. Utilize and navigate the industry-specific order management system (FDS) to maintain accurate order records and streamline order fulfillment processes. Qualifications & Experience: Customer Service or Order Desk experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Work Hours 5 days a week (including weekends) – working 40 hours a week Day time: 8 am to 5 pm
