Job details

We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive in the third-party logistics (3PL) and supply chain industry, based in the Greater Vancouver Area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced outside sales professional to take ownership of a growing market, develop new business, and grow an existing customer portfolio. Our client is a growing, non-asset-based third-party logistics provider offering a comprehensive range of solutions, including freight brokerage, warehousing, transloading, inventory fulfillment, and container destuffing. With a focus on flexibility, accountability, customer-centricity, and actionable intelligence, the organization is committed to delivering reliable, tailored logistics solutions that help customers succeed. The Senior Account Executive will drive business development across the Greater Vancouver Area, leveraging an existing customer portfolio while acquiring new accounts and maximizing long-term revenue opportunities. Senior Account Executive responsibilities: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across freight brokerage, warehousing, fulfillment, transloading, and value-added logistics services. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth across inbound and outbound markets throughout the Greater Vancouver Area. Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers while building new relationships and expanding the overall customer base. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services, maximizing customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term account value. Meet or exceed revenue targets and sales activity KPIs while taking ownership of individual sales performance and business development initiatives. Collaborate with operations and internal support teams to ensure effective service delivery, resolve customer issues, and maintain strong client relationships. Maintain accurate customer and sales pipeline records in Salesforce and travel to client sites as required to develop and strengthen business relationships. The successful candidate has: 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry. Strong preference for experience working with a non-asset-based third-party logistics provider. A proven track record of winning new business while successfully managing, retaining, and growing existing customer accounts. Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a customer-first approach. A self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently while contributing to a growing business. Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM is an asset, along with a valid driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle. Compensation and benefits: Base salary of $70,000–$80,000, commensurate with experience. Uncapped commission structure with independent-contributor incentives and unlimited earning potential as you build and grow your portfolio. Estimated first-year on-target earnings (OTE) of $85,000–$100,000, with significant potential to increase earnings over time. An existing customer portfolio to support your transition and provide a foundation for continued account growth. Car allowance, laptop, and phone allowance. Opportunity to take ownership of a high-potential market as part of a strategic regional expansion. Autonomy, direct access to leadership, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the organization's growth. A performance-driven, customer-focused culture that values initiative, accountability, and long-term relationship building. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Only candidates selected to move forward in the hiring process will be contacted.
